The Little Mermaid

I was so sick on Thursday night, I was not feeling very well before going out for drinks but it's Make's birthday and we promised to go...I just drank a glass of coke but when coming home, I got a headache, sore throat and pains in my body and my neck was so hot, I knewI got a fever...I have never got a fever for many years...eventually, I stayed in bed for more than 2 days and I felt  a lot better after going Yum Cha and seeing those beautiful christmas lights and of course did some early christmas shopping. We bought a yoga kit with a mat and keen on doing it now.

Last weekend we were invited to a friend's Halloween party, her fiance is American so we could really see how a real Halloween party looks like The decoration was amazing, there was a grave yard outside the house and we all dressed in fancy clothes and put our masks on. We played until very late and couldn't catch the last train so we had to take a black cab to London Bridge. Luckily, there were 5 of us sharing the fare.

Guess what, last Sunday we did something what Hong Kong people usually do on Sunday. It's Yum Cha! It's very happy to try something you have been missing long ago. Of course it's much more expensive than in HK, each Dim Sum costs at least 2 pounds (HK$30). We ordered Siu Mai, chicken feet, prawn rolls, tulip cakes and fried noodles...I'm not an especially sentimental person, am I? Anyway, always miss Chinese food and Mum's soup!

I was sick last week because I ate too many crisps  and it's rainy and cold. Honey arrived home earlier and cooked veg soup for me, plus prepared a hot water bag in my bed, how sweet! I recovered very soon, thanks honey!
