    Mid-autumn Festival

This is the first mid-autumn festival in London, I hang the lanterns on the window and cooked chickens and soup to celebrate. The chickens were delicious but the rice wasn't cooked thoroughly and the soup was too starchy because of the big "Suet Yee". Somebody kept nagging me, 勃然大怒 anyway, the other day, the fried rice was perfect!

    Reminder

When I find myself  lost in this country, I remind myself that I come here to
1.travel in Europe (in a cheaper way),
2.accompany my husband, enjoy our new marriage life,
3.learn English and immerse into the English culture,
4.do something I want when I'm still "young" and without burden,
5.it's a precious chance and it would be an unforgettable experience, how can I give it up?

    Festival of the West

We were invited to the Festival of the West, actually the host is my husband's ex-colleague, he is an Australian and an expert in wine. We bought a wine book which was recommended by him. We are still beginners in wine-drinking and try one almost every night. Before being experts, we will soon become alcoholics.

    Friday night

Last Friday, I went to the Bistish Museum. This is the first time I took the tube alone. I got off at Tottenham Court Road station and walked around to wait for my husband. We had sandwiches outside the museum and spent about an hour there on the first floor. I remember years ago, when I first visited the museum, it's so crowded and there were many things to see. Most people rushed to see the mummies, they are really horrible. Imagine those dry dead bodies lying in the glass box...I didn't have time to visit them this time because we then had drinks with his colleagues., maybe next time and I'll show you the pictures.

    Horrible flowers

I tried to walk around the park and saw terribly tall sunflowers outside the park, could have eaten me. Also, there are some red roses in the park, they dyn the leaves red too, it's horrible, like bleeding, isn't it?

    Fat Char Siu

Although my honey's blood test told him not to eat so much fat, he is a carnivore, he loves meat very much. I baked this fat Char Siu for him and cut all the fat out of the steaky pork. Healthier and very delicious!

    Watling Park

It is sunny today, after walking to the station with my honey, I went to the park nearby. I sat on a bench and read newspaper, it's quiet and peaceful but cold too. I could see smoke out of my mouth. The squirrels are lovely and quick, I could hardly take a close-up of them.

    IKEA near Wembly Stadium

We spent the whole weekend desiging our room and we visited IKEA twice. It's a whole new experience to shop there. We had to pick things up ourselves in a huge storeroom and assemble them ourselves according to only 3 pictures in the menu, it's easier than imagined though. By the way, cheap and tasty hotdog at IKEA is worth trying!

    1st morning in London

This is my first morning in London, sunny and beautiful. My feeling is compliacted. I am worried but at the same time excited about the new life. When I was on the plane, I was so worried but I think I will be ok because last time when I went to Australia, I had the same feeling at first. I can say which was even stronger because I was alone. At last, I love that place and didn't want to leave so I think I can adapt to it again. This is really a valuable chance and I have given up so much in making this dream come true so I hope I can learn, experience and enjoy as much as I can.
